Job Title: Account Manager, Taiwan

Location: Taiwan

Employment Type: Full-time

The job  

The Account Manager is responsible for driving direct sales engagement with strategic customers across manufacturing, power & utilities, and EPC sectors in Taiwan. This role focuses on developing large software opportunities, expanding AVEVA footprint within key accounts, and building long-term relationships with owner/operator customers. The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle and drive complex enterprise software opportunities.

Key Responsibilities • Achieve assigned sales targets and quota for strategic accounts • Drive direct sales engagement with manufacturing, power utilities and EPC customers • Build and execute strategic account plans • Expand AVEVA footprint within existing key customers • Identify and close complex, high-value software opportunities • Develop executive-level relationships within direct accounts • Understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions • Collaborate with presales and delivery teams for large pursuits • Leverage AVEVA partner ecosystem to support account growth • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and CRM discipline • Deliver presentations and solution positioning to senior stakeholders • Manage customer escalations and support deal execution  

Target Industries • Process Manufacturing (Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy) • Discrete Manufacturing (Shipbuilding, Heavy Industry, Equipment) • Power & Utilities • EPC Contractors Example Target Customers • Petrochemical manufacturers • Power utilities and energy operators • EPC contractors • Shipbuilding companies • Large manufacturing groups Essential Requirements • 5–10 years enterprise direct sales experience • Proven track record in complex solution selling • Experience selling to owner/operator customers • Experience managing enterprise sales cycles • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to develop and execute account strategies • Experience using CRM and sales methodologies (MEDDPIC preferred) • Hunter mindset with strong new business capability Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required • Engineering, industrial, or technical background is a plus • Experience in process or discrete manufacturing industries is preferred • Experience in power, utilities or EPC customers is preferred • Software or industrial automation sales background preferred • Experience engaging senior executives (VP, CTO, CIO, Operations) • Proven track record closing high-value opportunities • Strong presentation and negotiation skills • Customer-focused and results-driven mindset • Ability to travel within Taiwan
