Junior Application Consultant- Business Central
Univerus is a fast-growing enterprise software company specializing in vertical market solutions. The Junior Application Consultant — Business Central is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for municipal and public sector clients, focusing on ERP competency, financials, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Business Central implementations: requirements, configuration, UAT, go-live, and hypercare
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and workflows for client reporting and process automation
- Lead UAT cycles and go-live activities for billing system deployments
- Deliver training sessions and create documentation for municipal end-users
- Stay current on BC updates, ISV extensions, and platform best practices
Skills
- Utilized Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support financial and operational processes within ERP environments
- Applied SQL and data querying to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and generate meaningful insights
- Contributed to ERP implementation methodology, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and deployment
- Delivered effective customer-facing communication and training, ensuring successful user adoption and satisfaction
- Leveraged integration and API literacy to enable seamless data exchange between systems and third-party applications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Finance
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting and / or
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technical/programming field
- Applied domain knowledge to support accurate processes, compliance, and customer account management
- Leveraged asset management fundamentals to improve tracking, maintenance planning, and lifecycle visibility
- Utilized understanding of municipal government operations to align systems and processes with public sector requirements
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving and support acumen to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and ensure service continuity
