[Remote] Build Engineer - NBA 2K
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Visual Concepts is one of the world’s top game development studios, known for shipping over 100 multi-sku titles. They are seeking a Build Engineer to ensure that tools and pipelines are running effectively for the NBA 2K game, thereby making the build process flawless.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain asset generation scripts and tools that are critical to our games’ success
- Primary responsibility for troubleshooting build-related incidents
- Contributing to improvements our build pipeline
- Continuously work to make your own life easier by writing scripts to automate events, and processes
- Learn from leaders with decades of experience building world-class AAA games
Skills
- A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- C++ experience
- Advanced debugging skills
- Experience with source control, bug tracking, and external asset delivery
- Worked and collaborated effectively as part of a team
- Experience with Jenkins pipeline development
- Python experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Self-motivation and excellent problem-solving skills
- A high standard for clean, well-documented, efficient code
