Pharmacy Network Liaison

HealthPartners is hiring a Pharmacy Network Liaison. This position is responsible for establishing new and supporting existing relationships between HealthPartners and pharmacy services providers that participate in HealthPartners medication management and other pharmacy quality programs that advance our medication optimization efforts. Broad responsibilities include network recruitment, engagement, support, and assuring compliance with HealthPartners program requirements.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Network Recruitment, Engagement, and Support

  1. Works with Clinical Pharmacy Program Manager to identify areas where HealthPartners needs local medication management providers to better serve our membership.
  2. Actively recruits medication management providers into the HealthPartners network.
  3. Assures that network medication management providers are fully engaged in HealthPartners medication management programs.
  4. Supports potential medication management providers and HealthPartners Contracting and Credentialing through contracting and credentialing process.
  5. Provides network medication management providers with support related to HealthPartners medication management program requirements, claims submission, clinical and regulatory data submission, and payment issues.
  6. Participate in medication management program design with Pharmacy Administration leadership utilizing feedback from medication management providers that will improve network participation and engagement.
  7. Works with marketing to develop materials for network providers to increase member engagement in medication management services.
  8. Works with retail pharmacies to increase active engagement in the HealthPartners Partners in Excellence program and other pharmacy quality programs that support HealthPartners medication optimization initiatives. Assists in oversight of those programs.

Compliance

  1. Works with HealthPartners Informatics and Pharmacy Programs Coordinator to develop and maintain policies and procedures for auditing of medication management provider submitted data that will be reported to CMS, DHS, and employer groups.
  2. Supports Pharmacy Programs Coordinator with auditing of medication management provider submitted data.
  3. Works to quickly resolve identified data integrity issues with network providers and/or HealthPartners IS&T/Informatics.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field or equivalent in college courses and job experience.
  • Two years experience managing single or group client relationships
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability in critical thinking, self initiative, and self direction.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain effective, courteous, and confidential relationships with coworkers, staff, employer groups, and members.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Background and knowledge with Medication Therapy Management programs
  • Pharmacy related experience
  • Medicare Part D experience
  • Knowledge of HealthPartners systems
  • Ability to lead and implement change
  • Ability to present information independently to individual and group settings
