Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our team. As a Data Entry Technician, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, ensuring data integrity and completeness. You'll work closely with other departments to verify and correct data discrepancies, and maintain data quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Technician at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Entering data from various sources into the company database with speed and accuracy
• Verifying accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents and detecting errors or missing information
• Ensuring proper use of data standards and adhering to company procedures and policies
• Collaborating with team members to resolve data issues and maintain data integrity
• Preparing and organizing data for input into designated databases and maintaining accurate records
• Assisting with data cleanup and maintenance projects as needed
• Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations
• Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Proven experience as a data entry technician or similar role
• Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is preferred
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
• Basic understanding of databases and data entry systems
• Great attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification will be an asset

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

• Experience with data entry for large-scale databases
• Familiarity with administrative duties
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
