Job Summary

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products to our customers. You'll be responsible for managing time-sensitive information and transactions, tracking shipments, and communicating with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities

* Use our Transportation Management System (TMS) to enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently

  • Work closely with common carriers to ensure on-time deliveries by checking shipment status daily and maintaining transportation relationships
  • Communicate effectively with associates from other shifts to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Complete daily logs and checklists to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance
  • Work with customers to resolve any transportation issues that may arise, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Identify cost savings opportunities for customers and implement strategies to drive efficiency and reduce costs
  • Participate in other projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to learn

Qualifications

* At least 1 year of customer service experience required, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree or some college preferred, but a High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Outlook, are essential for success in this role
  • Ability to learn and regularly operate multiple company and customer-owned transportation systems and applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, with a strong focus on flexibility and teamwork
  • Ability to work First, Second, and Third Shift as needed, with a willingness to travel as necessary
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
