Looking for Associate Director of Teaching and Learning - Student Support in New Mexico

Job title: Associate Director of Teaching and Learning - Student Support Company: Las Cruces Public Schools Job description: 2. Possess or be eligible to obtain a valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) Administrative License (Level 3B). 3. Five years teaching experience in a K-12 setting. 4. Well versed in current research-based instructional practices. 5. Experience with Student Assistance Team processes and 504 processes and compliance. 6. Building-level administrative experience or a district-level leadership role (specialist or coordinator). 7. Knowledge in identification, research, writing and submission of competitive grant applications. 8. Ability to develop grant budgets. 9. Ability to work with students, parents, District personnel and community members. 10. Strong organization, communication, written, oral, leadership, and interpersonal skills. 11. Knowledge of research and evaluation methodologies. 12. Proficiency with computer and software applications. 13. Ability to thoroughly review and edit proposals.
