Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative in our part-time data entry role, you will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming and assisting customers with their travel needs, including ticketing, baggage handling, and other related services.
  • Utilizing computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage customer information and travel documentation.
  • Ensuring that customers have the necessary documentation for travel, including passports, visas, and other required documents.
  • Labeling and handling baggage, as well as performing lifting tasks that involve moving bags from scales to transport lines.
  • Practicing security-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and system.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve business objectives and ensure seamless customer experiences.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals, thinking, and styles.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with Spanish, both written and spoken, is an asset.
  • Ability to lift bags or objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift bags or objects weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate computer systems and software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and precision in all tasks and activities.
  • Ability to work a fixed or rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and confidentiality when handling customer information.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in customer service, data entry, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with airline operations, travel industry, or customer service software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintaining a high level of productivity.
