Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative-Bilingual Spanish, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients in both English and Spanish, ensuring that their unique needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assisting customers with their inquiries and resolving issues effectively, using your problem-solving skills and product knowledge to find solutions.
  • Offering available products and services that meet customer needs, while also upselling and cross-selling relevant solutions.
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to confidently assist customers, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you're equipped to handle complex customer issues.
  • Collaborating with team members to enhance customer service delivery, sharing best practices and expertise to drive results.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Two years post-secondary education or higher, or a minimum of two years relevant work experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred for bilingual roles, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with customers.

While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of products and services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex customer issues and find creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
