Responsibilities
- Translate technical documents, manuals, and related content from English into Basque (Euskara) with accuracy and clarity.
- Ensure that translations meet industry-specific terminology standards and are consistent across projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and linguists to ensure timely delivery and high-quality output.
- Perform quality checks to maintain linguistic consistency and adherence to client guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Native proficiency in Basque (Euskara) with excellent command of English.
- Proven experience in translating technical content accurately and effectively.
- Strong knowledge of technical terminology and ability to research industry-specific vocabulary.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with teams remotely.
- SDL Trados Studio required
