Job Summary As a Data Ops Analytics Engineering Specialist at Blithequark, you will play a critical role in driving data ingestion into our enterprise data warehouse, executing best practice data modeling strategies, and developing data quality standards and governance policies. You will also be responsible for leading performance improvement and scalability of data design and engineering strategies, ensuring that our engineering platform supports the broader analytics engineering team needs.

Key Responsibilities

Drive data ingestion into our enterprise data warehouse, ensuring seamless integration with various data sources. Execute best practice data modeling strategies to deliver space-relevant data models that meet business requirements. Develop and maintain data quality standards and governance policies to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Lead performance improvement and scalability of data design and engineering strategies to optimize data processing and analysis. Ensure that our engineering platform supports the broader analytics engineering team needs, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams. Support cross-functional team engagement on data projects, providing expertise and guidance as needed. Manage third-party connections in support of data projects, ensuring effective partnerships and vendor management.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution (verified before start). 2+ years of combined experience in data/analytics engineering in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications will be highly regarded: Strong understanding of data analysis concepts, statistical analysis, and data modeling. Knowledge of coordination tools like IICS, Wind current, Oozie, or DBt for workflow management. Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large and complex datasets. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
