SAP Basis Administrator

They manage complex SAP landscapes across multiple platforms in virtualized environments, serving diverse stakeholders across different time zones. Your Responsibilities Perform SAP application installations, patches, upgrades, and production support across multiple SAP products (ECC, BI, SCM, Solution Manager, Enterprise Portal, PI) Administer HANA databases including setting up and managing High Availability and replica configurations Monitor and implement Oracle/HANA database performance improvements for optimal SAP system operations Execute client and system copies, new SAP instance installations, table reorganizations, and connectivity maintenance Manage transport operations with rigorous documentation and change management procedures Configure and monitor backup solutions, perform ad-hoc backups and restores as required Conduct SAP Security Administration including role creation, user account management, and authorization assignments Troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with SAP support, and provide technical guidance to development teams What You Bring 7+ years of hands-on SAP and HANA Basis administration experience Extensive working experience with ECC, BO, BI, PI, Portal, Solman, SLT, SRM, CRM, Fiori, TM, EM, GRC, Redwood, IDM, HANA, NWDI 4+ years of Oracle database administration experience with performance tuning capabilities 2+ years of Linux Operating Systems administration experience Deep understanding of SAP HANA enterprise DB, High Availability setup, configurations, and maintenance Strong knowledge of SAP Security concepts and network fundamentals Experience with DB export/import techniques and homogeneous/heterogeneous system copy procedures Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure across multiple time zones Nice to Have SAP certifications in ECC, Netweaver, Solution Manager, Portal, HANA, SCM, or SRM Experience in global SAP implementation programs Oracle and HANA database certifications Background in complex technical environments and enterprise-scale operations Previous experience working with international organizations or UN agencies Why This Role Will Pivot Your Career Join a mission-driven international organization contributing to global sustainable development goals Work with cutting-edge SAP technologies across diverse, complex enterprise environments Gain exposure to large-scale, multi-timezone operations supporting critical global initiatives Opportunity for contract extensions based on performance with potential for long-term engagement
