The Opportunity

Akido is a rapidly growing organization with teams distributed globally across clinical care, technology, operations, and corporate functions. As an Operations Architect, your role is to build the stitching that keeps this complexity moving in rhythm by designing the shared systems, workflows, and tools that allow teams to operate effectively together. You will work across nearly every function at Akido from finance, HR, IT, legal, product, and operations, to create systems of working that meet the needs of different teams while maintaining clarity and consistency across the organization. A key part of the role will be implementing and driving adoption of company-wide productivity and AI tools that improve how teams access knowledge, collaborate, and execute work. This is a highly cross-functional role reporting to the Chief of Staff, ideal for someone who enjoys turning organizational complexity into clear, scalable operating systems.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the rollout and adoption of company-wide AI productivity tools, including implementing new platforms, training teams on effective usage, and tracking adoption and impact across the organization.
  • Partner with operational leaders across finance, HR, IT, and product to design and implement scalable internal processes and systems.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of internal tooling and operational infrastructure, from requirements definition to rollout and adoption.
  • Build and maintain the company’s centralized operational knowledge base, including documentation systems, internal resources, and process libraries.
  • Design and implement operational workflows such as procurement processes, contracting systems, onboarding infrastructure, and internal service requests.
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop clear SOPs and playbooks that enable teams to execute consistently and scale operations.
  • Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions for internal tools and lead implementation of selected systems across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to automate operational workflows using modern tools, integrations, and AI-enabled systems.
  • Partner with IT and product teams to integrate operational systems into the broader company technology stack.

Who you are

  • 7+ years of professional experience in operations, program management, internal systems, or similar builder roles within fast-growing, complex organizations.
  • Proven experience leading technology implementations end-to-end, from identifying operational needs and selecting tools to rollout, training, and driving adoption across teams.
  • Experience implementing modern operational toolsets such as Notion, Google Enterprise, Microsoft 365, Asana, Jira, or similar systems (experience with some of these tools is expected, not necessarily all).
  • Strong systems thinker who enjoys designing workflows, processes, and operating frameworks that help organizations move faster and reduce friction.
  • Actively experimenting with LLMs and AI tools to improve personal productivity and operational workflows.
  • Ideally has experience introducing or scaling AI-enabled productivity tools within an organization.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong documentation skills and a commitment to operational clarity.
  • Strong communicator who can translate technical concepts into practical workflows for non-technical teams.

Salary range$190,000—$215,000 USD
