Job Overview
We are seeking a DTP & QA Team Lead to oversee our in-house Desktop Publishing (DTP) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams (6 direct reports).
This role combines strong technical DTP expertise with leadership and process rigor. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality, consistent, and efficient multilingual production workflows while strengthening documentation, accountability, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of QA and DTP specialists.
- Conduct 1:1s, performance management, and structured feedback.
- Set clear KPIs and productivity standards.
Quality & Production Oversight
- Ensure formatting accuracy and compliance with client standards.
- Oversee multilingual layouts (RTL, CJK, text expansion, etc.).
- Act as escalation point for formatting and quality issues.
Process & Optimization
- Build and document scalable workflows.
- Improve productivity and reduce rework.
- Drive operational rigor and measurable improvements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in localization/multilingual production.
- Strong hands-on DTP expertise (Adobe InDesign required).
- Experience with complex multilingual layouts.
- 2+ years leading teams (performance management required).
- Experience improving processes and documenting workflows.
- Advanced English.
