Were looking for a Data Scientist who thrives at the intersection of health tech and advanced analytics. You will help us unlock insights from user behavior, personalize fitness and nutrition journeys, and support the development of our AI wellness assistant. You will work closely with product, and engineering to turn data into action.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models to power personalized recommendations in fitness, nutrition, and mental health.

• Analyze user engagement data to uncover behavioral trends and retention drivers.

• Develop and evaluate machine learning models for wellness insights, predictive health outcomes, and segmentation.

• Collaborate with backend (Golang), mobile (iOS/Android), and web (React/TypeScript) teams to deploy data pipelines and ML features.

• Support the virtual agent (AI assistant) with NLP-driven insights and contextual understanding from user data.

• Define and monitor key product metrics, A/B test outcomes, and experiment success.

• Contribute to the development of internal data tools and dashboards for the team.

What We're Looking For

• 25 years of experience in data science, preferably in health tech, consumer apps, or wellness platforms.

• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch), SQL, and data visualization (e.g. Plotly, Dash, or similar).

• Experience with NLP, recommender systems, or time-series modeling.

• Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and cloud environments (AWS preferred).

• Strong communication skills and a product-oriented mindset.

• A passion for fitness, nutrition, or mental wellness is a big plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with wearable data (e.g. Fitbit, Apple Health).

• Understanding of gamification mechanics in digital products.

• Knowledge of Open Food Facts or similar nutrition databases.

• Familiarity with LLMs or embedding-based search (e.g. SentenceTransformers, GPT).

• Timezone from GMT-1 to GMT+4.
