About the Role As an SQL Developer within the Vista Custom Solutions Department at Aayla Solutions, your primary focus will be on developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL databases that complement and enhance the Vista by Viewpoint software. You will play a crucial role in designing robust database solutions, writing efficient SQL queries, and ensuring the overall integrity and security of the databases.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship and Data Management
Understand and interpret client requirements to provide effective, customized database solutions.
Database Development and Optimization
Design, develop, and administer efficient and secure SQL databases tailored to enhance Vista by Viewpoint functionality.
Implement database optimization techniques for performance improvement and scalability.
Ensure high standards of data integrity, security, and recovery protocols.
Technical Coordination and Support
Collaborate with various technical teams to ensure smooth integration of SQL databases with Vista by Viewpoint and other software systems.
Partner with the Crystal Reports team for data reporting and analytical support.
Address complex technical issues related to database performance and functionality.
Training and Documentation
Provide comprehensive training and support on SQL database management to clients and internal teams.
Develop and update detailed documentation for the database systems, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
Quality Assurance and Reporting
Perform regular quality assessments to guarantee the reliability and performance of the database systems.
Provide timely reports on the development and performance of database projects to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Significant experience in SQL database development, with a focus on applications in the construction industry.
Proficiency in database design, query optimization, and security practices.
Strong experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational database management systems.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Crystal Reports, including integration with SQL databases.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for client interactions and collaborative team work.
Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the capacity for both independent and collaborative work.
