We are looking for a highly motivated, growth driven Senior Account Manager. This position will use their professionalism, client orientated, and leadership skills to provide support to the Account Management Team in the Employee Benefits Department.

Essential Functions

  1. Oversee and manage assigned book of business for middle to large market employee benefit clients
  2. Support clients as the primary contact and provider of day-to-day employee benefits administration needs
  3. Respond to client questions and needs, as well as problem solve within the Account Management team
  4. Prepare for and facilitate weekly High-Performance Team (HPT) meetings with Account Executives and Senior Account Executives
  5. Assist Employee Benefits Department Manager with identifying workflows and workloads for the team as well as ResourcePro (offshore support)
  6. Understand best practices and proficiencies with workplace technology.
  7. Capable of meeting with client(s) independently to discuss renewals, claims, utilization, compliance, or other employee benefit administration needs
  8. Goes beyond client and team expectations to achieve excellent customer experience
  9. Assist Employee Benefits Department Manager with the development of consistent, efficient, and effective workflows, procedures and policies and ensure utilization within the department
  10. Conduct team and project meetings, as needed, to inform, and obtain input
  11. Train and mentor new hires and colleagues
Requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree preferred
  • 5+ years of employee benefits insurance experience
  • Life, Health, and Accident Licensed
  • Process development/project management experience preferred
  • Training/mentoring experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite, Agency Management System experience a plus

  • Ability to work effectively in an office environment for 40+ hours per week (including sitting, standing and working on a computer for extended periods of time)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as: telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, email, etc.
  • Ability to read standard typed documents

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm CT core hours, minimum

Remote working position

Salary Range-$58,000-$68,000 annually

Project-Based Bonus: $500-$2,500 per year

Reports to Employee Benefits Department Manager
