Associate, Operations
SS&C Technologies is a leading financial services and healthcare technology company headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut. They are seeking an Associate in Operations to perform daily trades, monitor portfolio pricing, and support client conversions while ensuring workflow process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Daily Performance of trades, Position and Cash reconciliations
- Monitor and analyze daily portfolio pricing
- Break resolution for all open items with brokers or clients
- Support the conversion of any new clients and existing migrations
- Processing and verification of corporate actions
- Work with managers on any open issues per client
- Assist in verifying test results for all in-house SSNC system enhancements
- Assist Operations manager in allocation of work, support workflow process, implement workflow process improvements
- Assist operations staff across to resolve day-to-day issues
Skills
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trade lifecycle, and settlement processes
- Experience with daily reconciliations, break resolution, and portfolio accounting
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies quickly and accurately
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills, especially when working with pricing or corporate actions
- Ability to communicate clearly with brokers, custodians, internal teams, and clients
- Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with portfolio management or reconciliation systems
