Claims Service Representative - Business Insurance
Marsh McLennan Agency is a full-service brokerage providing business insurance and employee benefits. As a Claims Service Representative, you will connect clients with service staff and insurance carriers, processing claims and ensuring a smooth experience throughout the claims process.
Responsibilities
- Handle claim information processing, guide clients through reporting procedures, and keep claims moving smoothly from start to finish
- Support Claims Consultants by providing timely status updates, preparing reports, and helping resolve client questions
Skills
- 1+ years of experience processing and managing Property & Casualty insurance claims with accuracy
- Strong communication skills to guide clients and collaborate with internal teams
- Ability to maintain detailed and organized claim documentation
- Proficiency with software systems, including Excel
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Commitment to timeliness and quality in client service and data integrity
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related field
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with insurance coverage terms and claims strategy
- Previous experience supporting claims consultants or managers
