Position Title & Overview The Project Manager will play a key role in successfully executing large projects, optimizing processes, and ensuring clear documentation and communication for interdepartmental Revenue, Product and Engineering work. Reporting to the Manager of Project Management, this role will sit at the cross section of multiple departments: Revenue’s Ad Tech team, Product, and Mediavine’s Legal and Data teams. Partnering closely with these teams, they will own the coordination of interdepartmental projects to ensure clear communication and implementation. The Project Manager is expected to know what’s happening, when, and by whom — and is responsible for communicating each to appropriate stakeholders. For this role, you’ll need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and not be intimidated by large projects, complex technical projects, or colleagues’ titles. You should be able to own the execution of projects that move quickly, make sure all pieces are moving along as planned, and raise awareness of potential risk factors while there’s still time for mitigation. You should be flexible when working within existing interdepartmental systems and diplomatic when coordinating across departments. Your ultimate goal: project success. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with the fast paced, high stakes nature of Programmatic Advertising and the quickly changing Privacy landscape. Your goal will be to monitor, maintain, and improve systems and processes that help the Revenue team launch an ongoing number of projects and ad technology features. Essential Responsibilities

• Drive the execution and coordination of large and small scale projects from beginning to end and ensure their importance is not lost in noise of day-to-day tasks
• Understand and assist in scoping the various deliverables and ensure all involved are aware of who needs to do what and when
• Help identify potential issues with inter-departmental projects, such as prioritization of tasks, resource constraints, timing conflicts, difference in understanding, and organizing discussions to resolve them
• Create and maintain current cross-project processes which includes a focus on continual improvement
• Measure project performance and utilize retrospectives to identify and implement areas for improvement
• Provide project updates to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress quickly and as needed
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
• Continually and proactively assist with communication between departments

Requirements Location:

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional experience
• 2+ years of progressive experience managing projects for a tech company
• Experience working in the programmatic advertising space
• Experience interfacing with and handling projects involving legal departments and/or privacy compliance
• Strong diplomacy, interpersonal skills, and are extremely resourceful
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, best practices, and software tools
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Proven ability to see projects through the full life cycle according to outlined scope and timeline
• Excellent analytical skills and an ability to spot a roadblock before it happens
