About the Role: Key Responsibilities and Expectations As our Intellectual Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing client engagements, developing complex financial models, and crafting compelling reports and presentations. Your expertise will be crucial in critiquing opposing parties' claims, directing analyst efforts, and synthesizing financial and marketing documents. Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities:

  • Develop complex financial models on client businesses and products to support litigation consulting and IP valuation services
  • Create comprehensive reports, presentations, and other materials for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Manage daily client engagements, including meetings with clients and counsel, to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Critique opposing parties' claims and develop effective counterarguments to support client interests
  • Direct analyst efforts in preparing models, reports, and research, and other activities on client engagements
  • Synthesize financial, marketing, and other documents to identify key insights and trends
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects independently, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
  • Train analysts on technical concepts and best practices to enhance team performance
  • Assist Directors and Managing Directors with practice development efforts, including identifying new business opportunities
  • Play a supporting role in exploring new business opportunities and developing strategies for growth Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as our Intellectual Property Manager, you'll need a strong foundation in finance, accounting, business, or economics, as well as significant experience in litigation consulting or IP valuation. Here are the essential qualifications and skills we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics from a highly regarded program
  • 4+ years of experience in litigation consulting or IP valuation, with a proven track record of success
  • CPA/CFA certification preferred, demonstrating expertise in financial analysis and reporting
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and flexibility, with a strong commitment to client service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling reports and presentations
  • Great attitude and client presence, with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Experience managing team members, with a proven ability to lead and motivate others
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and drive results
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel, with the ability to develop complex financial models and reports
