The Opportunity Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Central Sales Manager to join our growing Central Sales Management department, where you'll focus on total sales funnel management for a portfolio of Select & Full Service hotels as well as the management of a team of Group Specialists. The Role The Central Sales Manager will manage the sales funnel for a small portfolio of Select Service & Full Service properties. They will lead a team of Group Specialists to deliver strong performance in group sales funnel management. The Central Sales Manager must be able to coach team members and ensure high performance. This person will manage a team and hotels across the Americas. The Central Sales Manager would be someone who has demonstrated, through performance, a thorough understanding and competence in Group sales, Hyatt systems, and the hotel/business travel industry. They will have thorough experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, and closing. Must possess exceptional negotiating skills. Must be proficient in general computer knowledge and able to train and monitor the process of sending referrals, setting traces, and profiling accounts. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint and be capable of creating documents, working charts, and spreadsheets. Communication and organizational skills are of utmost importance for this position.
