Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, ensuring that every interaction is courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient.
  • Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested, processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
  • Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters, shelves, and displays, and ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
  • Assisting with web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
  • Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.

Essential Qualifications

  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences, with a focus on courtesy, fairness, friendliness, and efficiency.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and answer questions in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous retail experience, with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Knowledge of store systems and store equipment, including cash registers and photo equipment.
  • Experience with asset protection procedures and loss prevention.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
