Agile Scrum Master Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Role Overview The Scrum Master acts as a servant leader, facilitating Agile Team Ceremonies and is accountable for optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered by one to two Scrum teams. Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies for the team, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, and enabling continuous improvement. This role ensures impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows agreed-to processes, and maintains a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team.

Key Responsibilities

Leverage subject matter expertise and technologists to assist, drive, and streamline new program workstreams. Assess Agile and Scrum maturity, ensuring the team works at a sustainable pace. Manage program duties and complete individual tasks to support the Performance Engineering and Capacity Management (PECM) team. Ensure team metrics and results are transparent to enable data-driven decisions. Guide the team on applying Agile Principles and utilizing Agile/Scrum practices. Manage and help resolve program impediments, escalating issues beyond the team's control. Facilitate cross-functional discussions, enable decision-making, and navigate conflict resolution. Promote continuous improvement and ensure retrospective items are successfully added to the backlog with clear ownership. Facilitate team events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives. Build and manage multiple sets of Tableau dashboards for reporting program status and key performance indicator metrics. Support the Product Owner during Grooming/Refinement sessions to ensure a healthy backlog. Lead program work independently, supporting an environment of trust and transparency.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Scrum Master role with the ability to apply Agile/Scrum principles. Excellent communication skills. Coachable and open to feedback. Experience with the creation and management of multiple complex sets of Tableau dashboards. Pragmatic ability to apply servant leadership. Robust facilitation skills and situational awareness. Ability to drive continuous improvement through transparency and learning. Exhibits a continuous learner mindset and is comfortable when faced with complex problems. Understanding of Performance Testing and Capacity Management within the software development lifecycle. Strong navigation skills and organizational awareness. Certification in SAFE Scaled Agile for Scrum Masters. Compensation & Benefits A compensation range of $70.00 to $73.94 per hour is offered for this position.
