Role Overview

We’re looking for expert Calculus Tutors who can deliver engaging, structured 1-on-1 online sessions for US high school students—especially those enrolled in AP Calculus AB/BC, IB, Honors, or advanced tracks.

You will help students master both fundamentals and advanced concepts, strengthen problem-solving skills, and improve academic performance through personalized instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live 1-on-1 online Calculus tutoring sessions
• Teach topics including:
• Limits, continuity
• Derivatives (rules, chain rule, applications, related rates)
• Integrals (techniques, applications, area/volume)
• Sequences/series (if AP/BC support)
• Support students with:
• Homework help and concept clarity
• Quiz/test prep and exam strategies (AP/IB-focused where needed)
• Confidence building and reducing math anxiety
• Diagnose learning gaps from earlier topics (algebra, trig, pre-calc) and strengthen foundations
• Create/assign practice problems and guide step-by-step problem solving
• Maintain professional communication with Ruvimo team/parents where required
• Deliver consistent student experience (students often continue with the same tutor long-term)

Requirements

• Strong mastery of Calculus (single variable); AP/IB experience is a plus
• Prior tutoring/teaching experience (online preferred)
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken + written)
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, student-friendly way
• Comfortable using online teaching tools (whiteboard, shared screen, digital problem solving)
• Reliable laptop/PC + stable internet connection
• Professionalism, punctuality, and student-first mindset
