Job Summary
As a Senior Analytics Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing data frameworks that enable report automation for our Medical Services Quality Improvement program. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth and inform strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with internal IT and data teams to design and implement data frameworks that enable report automation for our Medical Services Quality Improvement program
- Work with a cross-functional team of data analysts, business intelligence engineers, and data scientists to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth and inform strategic decisions
- Develop and maintain long-term and ad-hoc data ETL and data warehousing processes to meet business reporting and analysis requirements
- Design, develop, and deploy layered data sets and data pipelines to support reporting and analysis projects
- Develop data organization and pre-processing principles for populating coherent and accurate data models attached to report-specific working tables for both ad-hoc business intelligence and pre-defined reporting arrangements
- Apply data extraction, transformation, and loading best practices to integrate large data sets from various internal arenaflex production system sources and external documents
- Perform data profiling and data analysis across internal production systems, manually maintained data, and standard healthcare data collections (e.g., patient segmentation, clinical cases, pharmacy claims, HEDIS ECDS documents)
- Develop internal tools for automation of all development-related activities (data handling, QA, data validation, etc.)
Essential Capabilities
* Certified, hands-on experience writing and tuning SQL-based ETL/ELT scripts
- Experience designing and deploying properly isolated data conditions using ETL/ELT services that include but are not limited to Snowflake, Databricks, or Sky blue Information Factory
- Experience providing thought leadership and presenting data-driven semantic layer enhancements connected with BI technology stage like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical teams, internal stakeholders, clients, and vendor partners
- At least 3 years of experience contributing to business decisions in the workplace
- At least 3 years of direct management, indirect management, or cross-functional team leadership experience
Preferred Capabilities
* Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
- Experience with pharmacy, healthcare, and clinical research concepts
