Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including answering phones, responding to orders, and resolving client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times.
  • Clarifying orders as needed to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and orders.
  • Collaborating with the Data Entry Manager to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Previous experience in pharmacy, with a strong background in customer service and communication.
  • LTC pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of brand name and generic medications, as well as a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in software applications and systems.
  • Great telephone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Frameworks / ECM knowledge is a plus, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.

  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and systems, including electronic medical records and billing systems.
