Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, ensuring that every patient and customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Processing Prescriptions: Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service, ensuring that prescriptions are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Assisting Pharmacists: Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring that patient care and safety are always the top priority.
  • Engaging Customers: Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, ensuring that every customer interaction is personalized and memorable.
  • Resolving Customer Issues: Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience, demonstrating a commitment to patient satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintaining Store Environment: Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, ensuring that the store environment is safe and welcoming for patients and customers.
  • Performing Operational Tasks: Performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist, including handling telephone calls, processing prescriptions, and managing inventory.
  • Reporting Prescription Errors: Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist and adheres to company policies, ensuring that patient safety and well-being are always the top priority.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Fluency in English: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, ensuring effective communication with patients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility: Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of patients and customers.

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Retail Experience: Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment, demonstrating a commitment to customer service and patient care.
  • arenaflex Experience: Prefer prior work experience with arenaflex, demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and experiences.
  • Math Skills: Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling, ensuring that patient care and safety are always the top priority.
  • Computer Skills: Prefer good computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems and software.
  • Inventory Control: Prefer knowledge of store inventory control, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • PTCB Certification: Prefer PTCB certification, demonstrating a commitment to patient care and safety.
