We're now seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis, working remotely after an initial 8-week training period.

About the Role

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in supporting our customer service team by accurately and efficiently processing customer inquiries, data entry, and other administrative tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to research and respond to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Research and respond to telephone and written inquiries from customers in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner

  • Accurately and efficiently process data entry tasks, including typing and data management
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure seamless communication and exceptional customer experiences
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and data entry tasks
  • Meet productivity and quality standards to ensure successful remote work arrangements
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Job Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED (education verification is not required)

  • 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare or health insurance environment
  • Experience evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Job Requirements

* 1 year of customer service experience

  • 6 months of data entry experience in an office environment
  • Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

Essential Skills and Competencies

* Basic computer skills, including navigation in Outlook and general computer knowledge

  • Strong typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
