Job Title: Locum Staff Nurse (Mental Health Inpatient Ward) Workplace Location: Central (Private Hospital) Employment Type: Temporary / Contract (2–4 days per week) Start Date: ASAP / November intake Duration: Minimum 3 months (extendable) Salary: $32 – $36 per hour (depending on shift & day) Working Hours: AM: 7:00am – 2:30pm PM: 2:00pm – 9:30pm Night: 9:00pm – 7:30am (optional; AM/PM required) Job Scope: Provide quality nursing care for patients in mental health inpatient wards. Conduct patient observation, assessment, and interventions as needed. Support psychiatrists, doctors, and therapists during treatment sessions. Administer medication and ensure accurate clinical documentation. Manage behavioral or emotional incidents using proper de-escalation techniques. Uphold infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards. Requirements: Valid SNB registration and BCLS certification. Experience in Mental Health / Psychiatric Nursing is required. Able to commit to 3–4 days per week, including weekends/public holidays when rostered.
