Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers through inbound and outbound communications. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high-quality customer experience, foster growth, and drive business success.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our customers' lives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phones, chat, social media, or email in a polite, courteous, and professional manner
  • Working with customers daily to sustain and improve business relationships
  • Asking probing questions to identify customer issues or concerns
  • Ensuring accurate account maintenance and updating of account information
  • Using next call avoidance techniques to mitigate future questions
  • Scheduling delivery orders and utilizing basic negotiation skills for issues pertaining to new and returning customers
  • Handling general customer issues such as general service order input, executing emergency scripts, closing uncontrollable loss accounts, answering general contract information, and answering basic pricing questions
  • Handling basic de-escalation of customer situations by following our customer complaint resolution policy
  • Sending copies of statements and invoices to customers, as well as performing soft collections for customers on credit hold or past due
  • Supporting the set-up of new customer accounts
  • Meeting or exceeding minimum performance standards outlined in company policy

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 or more year(s) of customer service experience
  • Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with typing and data entry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with company employees at all levels as well as customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
