Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Operator to join our data team and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date information in our systems. As a Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for collecting and entering data in databases, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information. You will work closely with our data team and Data Manager to achieve our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output
  • Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
  • Scanning documents and printing files, when needed
  • Keeping information confidential
  • Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files
  • Complying with data integrity and security policies
  • Ensuring proper use of office equipment and addressing any malfunctions

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Experience using office equipment, like fax machines and scanners
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidentiality
  • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
  • High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced data entry environment
  • Familiarity with data management software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
