Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Customer Success Machine Learning Engineer to lead the technical engagement and success of our federal and public sector clients. Reporting to the Head of Field Engineering and partnering closely with our Head of Federal, this role will be highly visible and critical to the growth of arenaflex's burgeoning public sector practice. As a technical expert, you will lead pre- and post-sales motions, working closely with federal machine learning teams to tackle critical, real-world challenges across computer vision, NLP, robotics, and help government clients understand how arenaflex can help with evolving AI assurance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical engagement and success for federal and public sector clients, ensuring seamless integration of arenaflex's AI developer platform
  • Collaborate with federal machine learning teams to identify and address critical challenges in computer vision, NLP, robotics, and other areas
  • Develop and deliver technical demos, presentations, and training sessions to prospective and existing clients, showcasing the value of arenaflex's platform
  • Serve as a government vertical's technical GTM representative, coordinating support for post-sale technical and implementation requirements aligned with government standards
  • Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure that arenaflex's platform meets the evolving needs of government clients and stays ahead of the competition
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients, helping them to adapt machine learning solutions to meet federal compliance standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, contractors, and partners

Essential Qualifications

  • Up to 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role working with the public sector or with government clients
  • Based in the D.C. metro area, with the ability to work remotely and travel as needed
  • Experience using one or more of the following packages: TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch Lightning
  • Strong programming proficiency in Python, with a willingness to work "hands-on keyboard" to help practitioners see the value of arenaflex's platform
  • Ability to adapt machine learning solutions to meet federal compliance standards, with an understanding of what it takes to get the technical win in the government market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on explaining technical concepts within the context of federal guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), preferably in environments compliant with FedRAMP or government standards
  • Experience with Linux/Unix, with a strong understanding of operating system principles and practices
  • Ability to break down complex problems and resolve them through customer consultation and execution
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, with a focus on agile development and continuous delivery
