Job Summary:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our health insurance operations team, you'll be responsible for researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. Responsibilities:

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries from customers, agents, and other stakeholders in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
  • Evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Entering data accurately and efficiently into our systems, ensuring high-quality data and minimal errors
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to arenaflex's policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and arenaflex's products and services
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment
  • Experience evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* 1 year of customer service experience

  • 6 months of data entry experience in an office environment
  • Experience working with various lines of business, such as CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in data entry and typing (at least 40 wpm)
  • Basic computer skills, including navigation in Outlook and general computer knowledge
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
