Key Responsibilities:

As a Guest Relations Specialist – Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for:

GUEST RELATIONS:

+ Screen potential guests and provide support for guests/resolving guest's issues in Airbnb, VRBO, or Marriott + Respond to guest inquiries and communicate with guests via phone, email, or chat + Achieve 5-star ratings and Superhost Status by providing exceptional customer service + Write and respond to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, or other platforms

COMPANY TASKS:

+ Report maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams + Report and submit damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement + Build, manage, and report in-house maintenance labor + Work with 3rd party vendors for tertiary market management + Assist with business financials/accounting and onboard accounting systems

Technical Requirements:

+ Proficient in Guesty and/or HostAI + Ability to leverage AI for comprehensive guest messaging that resonates with our brand + Deep familiarity with ChatGPT + Comfortable speaking English on the phone and using a VoiP to speak with guests and vendors + Experience with reporting and submitting damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement

Essential Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in English, with perfect grammar and spelling
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI is a plus
  • Familiarity with Operto Teams and Guesty Shield is a plus
  • Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management

  • Working knowledge of business financials/accounting
  • Experience with reporting and submitting damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement
  • Familiarity with ChatGPT and AI-powered guest messaging

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Note:

This is a part-time, temporary position starting in mid-October for 3 months, with the possibility of moving to a more permanent schedule starting in January 2025.
