Join Our Team

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the primary customer interface for inquiries, handling incoming phone calls and providing expert guidance to navigate the complex world of insurance. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about delivering best-in-class service and making a difference in the lives of our members.

Key Responsibilities

* Interfaces with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail to resolve customer issues and provide expert guidance.

  • Researches customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues.
  • Elevates sensitive customer requests when necessary and ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations and mandates.
  • Stays current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommends items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
  • Maintains accurate records and reports, as required.

Requirements

* High School Diploma or Equivalent and three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred).

  • Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length.
  • Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

* Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
