Job Description

THE POSITION: We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Project Management Officer (PMO) Manager to join our dynamic team. The PMO will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating project management activities within the pharma sector and within our COMPLETE Commercialization Business, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical project management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of successful project delivery. The PMO Manager will initially be dedicated to one COMPLETE Commercialization project supporting the launch of an oncology therapy. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:

  • Support the development and implementation of project management standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Support the planning and execution, of pharma projects and cross-functional workstreams.
  • Support the CCO with key project management client needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Prepare project status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Help manage project budgets, resources, and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Help facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EXPECTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Travel (15%) - In-person client meetings required
  • Hours (40 Hours per week, 5 days of the week)

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), Lean Six Sigma or similar certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of pharma regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma or Agile certification preferred.
  • Leadership Experience
