Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative – Credit Operations, you'll be responsible for handling customer inquiries and resolving issues related to credits, billing, payments, and collections. You'll work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide timely responses to their inquiries. In addition to regular CSR duties, you'll also process credits on behalf of our customers, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer inquiries and process requests in a timely and professional manner, using excellent communication and multitasking skills.

  • Use company systems to complete required follow-up and/or corrections on accounts.
  • Perform necessary record-keeping activities to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information.
  • Process credits on behalf of customers, adhering to current credit policy guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the customer service supervisor to resolve complex customer issues and find workable solutions.
  • Share ideas with the department to increase efficiencies and effectiveness of customer needs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a credit or collections environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.

  • Knowledge of credit and collections policies and procedures.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
