The Role of a Patient Care Advocate
As a Patient Care Advocate, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, responding to phone inquiries, and addressing their concerns with care, detail, and empathy. Your expertise will help patients understand their pharmacy benefits, track interactions, and ensure they're equipped with the best advice. You'll be the voice of arenaflex, representing our organization's values of compassion, empathy, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Help patients understand their pharmacy benefits by utilizing your knowledge gained from training, problem-solving skills, and support from your team to answer patient calls effectively.
- Keep track of patient interactions by using your expert listening skills to get to the heart of a patient's question quickly and document all interactions in real-time.
- Ensure patients are equipped with the best advice by identifying and empathetically addressing patient concerns and escalating appropriately when necessary.
What You Should Have
* High School Diploma / GED required
- College degree or Junior College degree with a healthcare focus preferred
- 1 year of relevant customer care experience
- Intermediate to Advanced PC knowledge
- Ability to navigate multiple screens and systems
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Flexibility to work specified shift and extended hours as necessary
