Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Clerk to join our team at our Markham, IL service center. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for providing administrative support to our Service Center Manager and assisting with various tasks related to operations. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Clerk at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including:

  • Assisting with all aspects of operations, including generating reports and performing other work-related duties as assigned
  • Working closely with our customer service team to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service
  • Providing administrative support to our Service Center Manager, including preparing reports, answering phone calls, and responding to emails
  • Maintaining accurate records and files, and performing other administrative tasks as required
  • Collaborating with our operations team to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance our operations

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • LTL company experience is a plus, but not required

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial for this role:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation operations, including freight management and transportation planning
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
