Job Summary

As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and ensuring that our customers receive the highest levels of service. You'll work closely with our support teams to develop plans that meet business objectives, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional customer service and business results

• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless operations
• Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks safely and efficiently
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, working in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
• Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
• Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

We hire Area Managers based on location preference and the business' current openings, so you'll have the flexibility to choose a location that suits your needs.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, management, customer service) preferred

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business results

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, with a strong focus on maintaining a safe work environment
• Experience working with diverse teams and populations, with a strong focus on cultural competence and sensitivity
• Strong technical skills, with proficiency in software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
