Job Summary

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review. You will also be required to develop and maintain a knowledge base of our ever-evolving products and services, summarize interactions based on customer needs, and adapt to a quick-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

* Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries

  • Provide detailed information about products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing
  • Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments and ensure seamless customer experience
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of our products and services, staying up-to-date on new features and releases
  • Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring accurate and secure data collection
  • Summarize interactions based on customer needs, providing valuable insights for client review and improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current on industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

* Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary

  • Ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with experience in online chat platforms a plus
  • Strong ability to multitask, with gaming experience a helpful asset
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Requirements

* Ability to attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday-Saturday between the hours of 10:00am-6:30pm CST

  • Must be able to work 5-hour time blocks daily after completing training
  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Gaming experience is preferred
