Key Responsibilities

As a part-time remote data entry clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing customer requests for technical assistance through our ticketing system
  • Opening and submitting tickets for review by our Help Desk technicians
  • Reviewing ticket outcomes and updating customer records accordingly
  • Providing exceptional customer service through timely and informative email responses
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and ticket resolutions
  • Collaborating with the Help Desk team to ensure seamless communication and efficient ticket closure

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in I.T. Help Desk ticketing or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer (not required, but highly desirable)
  • Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and customer relationship management software (training will be provided)
