Job Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for receiving calls from child support client stakeholders in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and contractual obligations. You'll categorize all calls received, record any abusive and/or extraordinary calls, and perform other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, remote work-from-home position, requiring a quiet and distraction-free workspace, reliable high-speed internet, and a smartphone for user authentication.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive and respond to inbound calls from child support client stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner

  • Categorize all calls received in accordance with established procedures
  • Record any abusive and/or extraordinary calls, as required
  • Maintain a general understanding of policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and productivity standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • At least one year prior experience in an area of service delivery, customer service, call center technology, or related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the position duties
  • Proficient in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM (a typing test will be administered during the interview process)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a call center or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of child support policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, using tact, patience, and courtesy
