About the Role
As a part-time Data Entry Specialist in our Remote Work Program, you will have the opportunity to work with our talented team of cybersecurity experts to analyze, mitigate, and respond to digital threats. You will be responsible for identifying, resolving, and recovering from security breaches, while collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective security measures. This role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in emergency management, threat assessment, and collaboration, setting you up for a successful and rewarding career in cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to develop high-quality technical solutions. - Ensure solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business strategies, and departmental standards. - Manage project timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget. - Act as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and IT teams. - Participate in system and acceptance testing. - Scope of work may vary depending on the team project.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. - Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and threat mitigation standards, theories, and practices. - Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm preferred. - Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Risk and Compliance (GRC) preferred. - Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement is preferred. - Major understanding of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program. - Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Basic knowledge of technical environment required. - Openness to Agile philosophies preferred. - Coursework or experience related to cybersecurity preferred. - Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines. - Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year preferred. - Experience resolving business issues in a capstone or case competition preferred.
