Key Responsibilities

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college attendance or degree is preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of call center experience, preferably in a healthcare-related customer service environment
  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience, with knowledge of health insurance coverage and terminology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and interact well with customers and coworkers
  • Computer proficiency, with the ability to learn and utilize multiple database applications and software systems
  • Ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible, reliable, and available for occasional overtime as needed
  • Must be able to pass required skill and knowledge assessment tests

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a remote call center environment
  • Knowledge of health insurance policy and terminology, with the ability to provide expert guidance and support to customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues
  • Experience working with multiple database applications and software systems
