Cloud & DevOps Engineer (USC and GC) W2
Hudson IT and Manpower is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cloud & DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will support cloud operations, automation pipelines, and deployment processes, working closely with senior engineers to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-hosted applications
- Support deployment and management of infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP
- Implement automation scripts (Terraform, Ansible, Shell, or Python) to streamline workflows
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost optimization, and security compliance
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and improve system reliability
- Contribute to documentation and best practices for DevOps processes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 6 months – 2 years of experience in Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible preferred)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
