Finance Analyst

Nayya is a company on a mission to connect people’s important information to enhance their health and wealth. They are hiring a Finance Analyst to take ownership of financial operations, including the monthly close and forecasting processes, while ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial reporting as the company scales.

Responsibilities

• Own defined components of the monthly close process, including preparation, review, and variance analysis, in partnership with Accounting and Finance leadership
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data across close schedules, financial statements, and supporting analyses
• Investigate discrepancies and root causes in financial results; drive process improvements to prevent recurring issues
• Support revenue recognition, accruals, and operational finance workflows tied to how the business operates
• Help design, document, and improve financial processes that support scalable, repeatable reporting
• Maintain and improve financial models, reporting templates, and system workflows to reduce manual effort and errors
• Partner with Accounting and Operations to ensure financial systems reflect business reality and reporting needs
• Strengthen controls and data integrity as the company grows in complexity
• Maintain core financial and operating metrics used by leadership and the board
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting that is accurate, timely, and decision-ready
• Ensure alignment between financial reporting, operational metrics, and source systems
• Support cross-functional initiatives by providing financial insight grounded in how the business operates
• Assist with ad hoc analyses related to pricing, ROI, headcount planning, and investment decisions
• Act as a reliable finance partner to stakeholders across the organization

Skills

• 1-2 + years of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, banking, or a related analytical role
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and comfort working with detailed, imperfect data
• Solid understanding of financial statements and how underlying activity translates into reported results
• Exposure to forecasting, budgeting, month-end close, or comparable analytical processes
• Ability to take ownership of workstreams, investigate issues, and follow them through to resolution
• Interested in operating within a growing business where financial processes are actively being built and improved
