Staff Accountant
GHJ is a prominent national accounting and advisory firm, and they are seeking a Staff Accountant to join a fast-growing start-up in the technology space. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for general ledger activities, month-end close support, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and accurately record accounting transactions in accordance with internal policies and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, ensuring the integrity and reliability of financial data
- Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including detailed reconciliations, to support a smooth, accurate, and timely month-end close process
- Perform account reconciliations and provide support during month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring compliance and consistency across financial statements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years of related accounting experience
