Commercial Lines (P&C) Customer Service Representative
Associated Insurance and Risk Management Advisors is a 130-year-old privately held insurance brokerage and risk advisory firm. They are seeking a Commercial Lines (P&C) Customer Service Representative to prepare insurance documents, manage client accounts, and support the team in various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Preparing insurance documents; auto ID cards, Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Insurance
- Fulfilling MVR requests and ordering E-Mods
- Preparing renewal applications
- Preparing applications
- Emailing signed forms to carrier/underwriter
- Monitoring receipt of policies
- Prepare policies for delivery
- Obtaining loss experience on all lines of coverage on all accounts
- Initiating and following-up on policy changes with various carriers and check when complete
- Reviewing and assisting with resolving audit disputes
- Setting up new clients in client management system
- Monitoring receipt of renewal policies
- Preparing client presentations
- Sending all documentation to scan, and maintaining files in client management system
- Invoicing, including:
- Updating billing screens
- Obtaining finance agreement quotes
- Setting up new applications and updating applications in client management system
- Agent of Record Letters
- Supports AM & AE – Provides updates once policy is bound
- Obtaining online quotes for Flood Policies
Skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both clients and agency personnel; ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions
- Demonstrates initiative with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Illinois P&C License preferred or required after employment
- 1+ years of experience preferred
